이 연구는 북한과 중국의 당-군 관계를 분석하여 그 차이점을 도출하고, 중국과 는 다른 북한의 당-군 관계의 흐름을 연구하여 향후 김정은 정권의 당과 군의 관계가 어떻게 흘러갈지 예측해 보는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 연구결 과를 통해 본 연구가 주장하는 북한의 향후 당-군 관계에 영향을 미칠 요소를 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 북한 김정은 정권의 당-군 관계는 향후 김정일 집권 시 기의 고난의 행군과 같은 중대한 사건이 발생하게 되었을 때는 또 한 번 변동하 게 될 가능성이 크다. 둘째, 북한에서 당-군 관계에 큰 변화를 주었던 요소 중 중대한 사건 외에도 권력 승계의 형태가 세습인 것도 향후 북한의 권력역학관계 에 영향을 미칠 큰 요소가 된다. 김정은 정권이 장기집권하여 향후 김정은이 다 시 한번 4代 김씨에게 세습을 하게 되었을 때, 아버지 세대 때 세력이 컸던 집단 을 통제하기 위해 당-군 관계가 변동될 수 있는 여지가 있다. 북한은 중국과 다 르게 집단지도체제이기보다는 1인지배체제에 가깝기 때문에 한 번 더 권력의 세 습이 이루어졌을 때 북한의 당-군 관계가 변동될 가능성은 크다고 볼 수 있다

The purpose of this research is to analyze North Korean and Chinese party-military relations. Based on the findings, the research proposes influential factors that could affect future North Korean party-military relations. First, it suggests that party-military relations under Kim Jong Un may undergo significant changes if a major incident, similar to the "arduous march" experienced during Kim Jong Il's rule, were to occur. Such incidents could potentially impact the power dynamics between the ruling party and the military. Secondly, the research highlights the significance of power transfer, specifically through succession, in North Korea. It asserts that power succession has historically caused substantial shifts in party-military relations and continues to be an influential factor in future North Korean power dynamics. If Kim Jong Un's regime endures for an extended period, and when the fourth Kim assumes power, it is posited that another significant transformation in party-military power relations may occur. This transformation could be driven by the fourth Kim's desire to assert control over the traditional empowered group that existed during Kim Jong Un's reign. Additionally, the research emphasizes the distinction between North Korea's dictatorship and China's collective leadership system. This distinction implies a higher likelihood of changes in party-military power relations in North Korea, particularly in the event of another power succession.
